Sand Products
Sand Products was formed in 1974 as a sand processing venture that produced different grades of sand for oil field applications, water filtration, sand/cement blends and sand blasting. The operation was first started with one rotary drier, a sifter, a forklift and just three employees.
The Factory now consists of three sand plants that dry and grade sand for several industries. The plant supplies also all manner of other grades of sand for specialist applications including pool filters and athletic grounds.
With three plants we are committed to fast turnaround times. Each plant is equipped with interchangeable sieves to customize precise size ranges guaranteeing consistency in each batch produced.
Water Filtration
Sand Products processes a wide range of filter media for water treatment plants, water wells and pool filters. Most notably, we supply many of WASA’s water treatment facilities. All our raw sands and aggregates used for filtration media are tested at our onsite lab for sizing, particulate matter and organics before being processed and packaged for easy handling and distribution.
Oilfield Applications
Sand Products has been importing and distributing Gravel packing sand, Frac sand and Silica Flour for the oil industry for more than 30 years.
Representing brands such as Badger Mining Corp, COVIA and US Silica, we supply to Oil and Gas service supply companies including Schlumberger, Halliburton, Baker Hughes and Tucker Energy.

Gravel Packing Sand
Our gravel packing sand has been used for stabilizing well formations in oil and gas exploration for many years. It is a specific type of sand used around the well bore to prevent the entry of formation sands into the well stream while allowing hydrocarbon flow and maintaining well productivity.
Sand/Cement Blends
Processed graded sand is required in many commercially manufactured products and in
the services sector.
With our core competencies in blending, cleaning, and sifting into different grades, we
can supply processed sands across a wide array of grain sizes and /or gradations
within pre prespecified ranges. Currently we supply sand for many sand/cement-based
products including tile setting mortars, tile grout, plaster mix, concrete mix and other
products.
This capability also permits us to supply sand for the manufacture of a wide array of
residential, commercial and industrial applications and specialized projects including
contract manufacturing and private label arrangements.
